3. *sc, 2sc* repeat around (18)
4. *sc, 2sc, sc* repeat around (24)
5.-6. sc in each st around (24)
7. *sc, sc, sc, 2sc* repeat around (30)
8.-9. sc in each st around (30)
10. *sc, sc, sc, sc, 2sc* repeat around (36)
11.-16. sc in each st around (36)
17. *dec, sc, sc, sc, sc* repeat around (30)
18. *dec, sc in each of next 8st(s)* repeat around (27)
19. *dec, sc in each of next 7st(s)* repeat around (24)
Fasten off

bunny ear:

1.  6sc into magic ring (6)

2. sc in each st around (6)

3. 2sc in each st around (12)

4.-6. sc in each st around (12)

7. *dec, sc, sc* repeat around (9)

8. sc in each st around (9)

9. *dec, sc* repeat around (6)

fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing

 

chick’s or duck’s wing:

1. 6sc into magic ring, ss (6)

2. ch1,  2sc, 2sc, 2sc and ch2, ss in 2nd from hook, 2sc, 2sc, 2sc, ss

fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing

 

chick’s beak:

1. 5sc into magic ring (5)

2. 2sc, sc,  2sc, sc, 2sc (8)

fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing

 

chick’s comb:

crochet on the top of head, attach yarn, (ch1 and 2sc),  ss,  (sc, dc, sc),  ss,  (sc, dc, ch2)

 

sheep’s ear:

1. 6sc into magic ring, ss (6)

2. ch1, 2sc in each st around, ss (12)

3. ch1, sc i  each st around, ss (12)

fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing

 

sheep’s face:

1. 6sc into magic ring, ss (6)

2. ch1, 2sc in each st around, ss (12)

3. ch1, *sc, 2sc* repeat around, ss (18)

      hmmm, to be honest, I don’t remember now. It could be something like (sc, dc, sc, ss) in one stitch and (sc, dc, sc) in next , st

    I would also love to get the rest of this pattern. They are absolutely beautiful. My kids would love to wake up to these on Easter Morning spread all over my kitchen table as a scenery. I hope you will soon put on the pattern for the finishes.

    Yes Yes Yes Please would love to know how to finish your easter egg covers! What a fantastic idea for an Easter Egg hunt…using the covered eggs….what a treat for the kids. I even thought what about making a certain color one to get an extra surprise? Can hardly wait for the rest of the pattern. Thank you for sharing!

    You only posted the bodies of the covers. Do you have a pattern for the bunny ears, chicken and duck wings, beaks, chicken comb and the ears for the sheep? I really like these and want to make them for my grandkids.
